Job summary

Hexcel’s Kent, WA site seeks a Manufacturing Engineer IV to provide advanced engineering support for production programs, lead cross-functional improvements, and drive new program introductions. The role emphasizes safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence in a regulated aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and proven ability to mentor teams while delivering data-driven solutions across multiple process areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or regulated environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing, capital equipment, or NPI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced manufacturing engineering support and technical leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize BOMs, routings, and work instructions.
• Lead complex process improvement across multiple process areas to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead new program introduction and ramp-up activities with manufacturability reviews.
• Drive data-driven decision making with measurement plans and SPC/analysis.
