Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center. You will develop manufacturing documentation, provide production support from concept through sustaining activities, and interface with design, process engineering, and program management.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, knowledge of military standards, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. Onsite work in Largo, FL is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with military standards and dispositioning nonconforming material with root cause and corrective action.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to manufacturing staff.
• Perform technical verifications, hardware inspections, and safety assessments.
• Develop work cell layouts and manufacturing tooling/fixtures.
• Plan, develop, and document manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Apply Lean manufacturing techniques and collaborate across functions.
