Job summary

Reliable Robotics, California, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead installation, maintenance, and fabrication of mechanical, electromechanical, and avionics assemblies for safety-critical aerospace systems.

You will conduct DFx reviews, collaborate with design, quality, and certification teams, and develop documentation to support production. The role requires 7+ years in aerospace manufacturing and leadership experience. Travel and cross-site coordination may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of aircraft design, manufacturing, inspection, and/or testing experience.
• 2+ years of leading complex projects in aerospace, autonomy, or robotics.

Responsibilities

• Installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, modification, testing, and fabrication of mechanical/electromechanical/avionics assemblies.
• Conduct DFx reviews to evaluate cost, producibility, inspectability, consistency, and conformance to requirements.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and certification teams to embed manufacturability and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain documentation, installation/inspection records, and logbooks.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule, quality, and reliability.
• Oversee aircraft installations across multiple airframes and manage tool/parts supply.
