Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff DFx Manufacturing Engineer to drive design-for-manufacturability, assembly, and testability across avionics, electronics, and harnessing subsystems for our autonomous aircraft and munitions portfolio.

You will embed with design teams, lead DFx reviews, and translate manufacturing constraints into actionable guidance, mentoring engineers and building scalable DFx tools across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in manufacturing engineering with electronics/avionics experience.
• Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Own DFx process for avionics, electronics, and harnessing across programs.
• Lead DFM/DFA/DFT reviews and translate findings into design changes.
• Provide real-time manufacturing feedback on PCB layout, components, connectors.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and operations to ensure producibility.
• Develop DFx standards, scorecards, and training materials.
• Mentor junior engineers in DFx principles and reviews.
• Travel to production sites and suppliers (<10%).
