Job summary

Carbon Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes for our 3D printer systems and large accessories.

You will provide hands-on support to the production line and drive new process development across the organization. The role is onsite Monday–Friday at our Santa Clara facility, with a focus on efficiency, tooling, and documentation development.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing environments in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience designing fixtures/tools with CAD.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve manufacturing operations from development to production.
• Provide day-to-day production line support and root cause investigation.
• Develop new processes to improve efficiency across the line.
• Design and build test fixtures and tooling for optimization.
• Program and troubleshoot servers and PCAs.
• Create SOPs and work instructions; train staff on processes.
• Collaborate across Design, Systems, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
