Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of work experience in manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability using CAD tools to design fixtures/tools.
• Demonstrated ability troubleshooting and resolving issues with complex electromechanical, optical, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Demonstrated ability resolving production line down issues and non-conformances using root cause analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation such as SOPs and WIs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in, maintain and improve manufacturing operations of complex assemblies from development through production.
• Provide day-to-day support to the production line, including troubleshooting line-downs.
• Develop new processes to improve efficiency and maintain existing processes across the line.
• Design and build test fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing and testing optimization.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain servers and PCAs.
• Create, maintain, and improve Work Instructions and other manufacturing documents.
• Collaborate with Design, Systems, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on new process/product development.
• Train technicians and engineers on new and existing processes.
• Organize manufacturing workflows and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
