Job summary

Eaton's Power Systems Division is seeking a 2nd shift Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Olean, NY. This role supports operations in a manufacturing plant with focus on manufacturing engineering, processes, and tools, including environmental and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include leading projects, process design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, equipment selection, lean initiatives, and cost reduction through scrap analysis and uptime improvements. Relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Related Field from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years of Product or Manufacturing experience required
• Minimum 3 years of experience with 2D / 3D CAD, M365
• Relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates that currently reside or are willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Olean, NY will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with all levels of manufacturing and product engineering and drive process improvements and controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment issues and document engineering changes.
• Assist in design, maintenance and interpretation of performance measurement systems to increase production efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Design, procure, fabricate, and implement fixtures and manufacturing equipment; justify tool expenditures.
• Plan, organize, and lead multiple projects.
• Conduct DFMEA/PFMEA sessions to identify project risks and develop response plans.
