Job summary
Eaton’s Power Systems Division in Olean, NY is seeking a 2nd shift Senior Manufacturing Engineer. The role focuses on developing and maintaining plant engineering functions, with responsibilities spanning industrial and manufacturing engineering, processes and tools, and safety/compliance programs.
The candidate will lead projects, coordinate equipment installation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including DFMEA/PFMEA reviews and lean manufacturing applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of Product or Manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with 2D/3D CAD, M365.
- Relocation benefits offered within 50 miles of Olean, NY.
Responsibilities
- Interface with all levels of manufacturing and product engineering to improve processes and controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment issues and support documentation.
- Lead multiple simultaneous projects and coordinate engineering efforts.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-reduction activities.
- Provide required engineering documentation and tooling support.
