We are currently searching for Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Fremont Plant in Fremont, OH.

What you will do:

  • Coordinates development of new and replacement programs; tooling and processes ahead of launch requirements. Facilitates internal change processes, capital projects, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve plant performance.
  • Coordinates and maintains APQP documentation as required. Facilitates regular APQP plant meetings.
  • Interfaces with customers and Auria Corporate Engineering and Program Management groups to provide required resources and support for launch activities.
  • Provides support of design engineering changes on new and existing programs.
  • Site leader for internal and external change management.
  • Performs, develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
  • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow by designing the layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Examines, plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
  • Inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facility to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations for new work cells.
  • Support Manufacturing/Process Engineering duties as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
