Trio Manufacturing, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to help build aerospace and defense manufacturing capabilities as the company expands from 40,000 to 130,000 sq ft.

This role offers hands-on leadership on the shop floor, full ownership of projects from concept to production, and opportunities to shape processes, mentoring, and customer/vendor collaboration. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in manufacturing engineering and CNC experience, with Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 15+ years in manufacturing engineering, aerospace experience strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of hands-on CNC experience required.
• Proven track record of building and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Real shop-floor troubleshooting skills and a willingness to get hands-on.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Natural leadership instincts — someone who mentors, not just manages.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Background in machining, welding, fabrication, or assembly within aerospace manufacturing
