Job summary

Lumicity in Boston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support production and improve manufacturing processes for advanced semiconductor robotics and electromechanical systems.

On the manufacturing floor, you will troubleshoot production and quality issues, work directly with technicians, and drive process improvements. Robotics experience is a plus but not required, and a hands-on approach is essential for this role in a fast-growing technology environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
• Strong experience with electromechanical assemblies and working directly with technicians.
• Proven troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvement experience.
• Experience with NPI, tooling/fixtures, CAD/GD&T, or precision manufacturing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production and improve manufacturing processes for advanced robotics and electromechanical systems.
• Be hands-on on the manufacturing floor, troubleshoot production and quality issues, and work with technicians.
• Drive process improvements and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

We are currently working with an exciting robotics and advanced manufacturing company in Boston that is looking to bring on a Manufacturing Engineer II to play a critical role in supporting production and improving manufacturing processes for advanced semiconductor robotics and electromechanical systems.

This role is ideal for someone who is a hands‑on manufacturing engineer who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, working directly with technicians, troubleshooting production and quality issues, and driving process improvements. Robotics experience is a plus, but not required.
