Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking an Engineering Aide to provide technical support, gather and format data, and produce engineering documentation for design changes and analyses. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and assist in maintaining accurate work instructions and procedures for the production floor.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and J‑STD‑001 certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and technical training to perform basic calculations, assembly/tests, and computer operations.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and apply specs to manufacturing.
• IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and J‑STD‑001 trained and/or certified.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on technical tasks, gathering and manipulating data and design changes.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings, and machine operation procedures with accuracy.
• Act as liaison between Manufacturing Engineers and production teams to support assembly performance.
