Job summary

The role collaborates across Operations, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Sales, and Management. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, with SAP and advanced

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting.
• Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.
• ERP experience, SAP preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and report writing/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze manufacturing cost accounting records (materials, labor, overhead).
• Develop and maintain reports on manufacturing performance, product costs, margins, inventory, and efficiency.
• Perform variance analysis and collaborate with Operations and Purchasing for root causes.
• Assist monthly financial statements, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
• Support physical inventory and cycle-count programs.
• Assist with evaluating capital expenditures and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses for management.
• May support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, and Payroll as needed.
