Job summary

NW Staffing Resources seeks a senior finance professional to lead accounting operations for a Portland-area manufacturer in Tigard, OR. You will own monthly close, reporting, cash flow, and internal controls while partnering with production, operations, and sales to drive profitability.

The role focuses on costing, pricing, margin visibility, and process improvements with hands-on leadership of the accounting team. A CPA/MBA is a plus; 7+ years in manufacturing accounting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting and cost analysis required.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations and monthly close, reconciliations, cash flow management, and general ledger accuracy.
• Develop and optimize costing and pricing models using production data to improve margins.
• Analyze performance to identify profitability drivers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive FP&A processes, forecasting, modeling, and reports; optimize ERP/MRP and QuickBooks.
