MP Biomedicals in Solon, OH is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee month-end close, cost accounting, inventory management, and internal controls, partnering with operations to drive profitability.

You will lead financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements in a growing manufacturing environment with competitive benefits and a strong focus on compliance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent.
• CPA encouraged but not required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; 3+ years in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in financial planning & budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure accurate financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
