Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing/industrial/construction engineering and operations.
• BS in engineering, planning, or production/operations management.
• Proven ability to lead large, long-duration projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight for complex and long-term design, integration, and construction projects.
• Review for manufacturability
• Integration and construction plans and schedules
• Progress and status reporting
• Identification and planning of resources and equipment
• Staffing and assignment of design, manufacturing, and process engineers, and technical and planning personnel, as required, through Kratos’ functional organizations (engineering, manufacturing, etc.)
• Review and approval of contractor plans
• Oversight of contractor personnel on-site
• Work with professional engineers, civil planners, and local government authorities from planning and approval through integration, test, and turnover
• Reporting and presentation for senior-leadership and customers
• Safety, cost, and schedule management
• Intermittent domestic travel, up to 50% in some months
