Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Associate to lead floor operations, setup equipment, and troubleshoot on the production line. You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting cross-functional teams in Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing Support.

The role focuses on lean transformation, continuous improvement, and collaboration across departments to maintain product availability and high quality in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing, process development or quality experience.
• Associate's degree with 2+ years biotech/pharma manufacturing, process development or quality experience is acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 months biotech/pharma manufacturing, process development or quality experience is acceptable.
• Master's degree is also listed as a qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor, including equipment setup and operation.
• Maintain machine uptime and clear stoppages on automated equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed at all times.
• Escalate safety, equipment, product supply or quality risks to management as needed.
• Provide training to manufacturing staff on processes and equipment.
