Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead data-driven transformation of manufacturing performance.

You will partner with Industrial and BI teams to build and refine analytical models, dashboards, and decision-support tools that target cycle time, cost, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery. The role emphasizes statistical analysis, optimization, and simulations to recommend improvements and validate impact on manufacturing operations, while collaborating with Finance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with 2 years of experience.
• Alternative: Master's or Doctoral degree with any amount of experience accepted.
• Exposure to business, finance, or economics is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in an engineering role.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with BI tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and ability to communicate insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Industrial and BI Engineering team in turning data into information and insights that drive key manufacturing decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve industrial models, analytical tools, and BI solutions for planning and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new data-driven technologies and analytics approaches.
• Apply statistical analysis, optimization, and simulation to improve cycle time, cost, capacity, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Own and enhance the BI suite for short-term and long-range planning with accurate models and actionable insights.
• Guide junior team members and promote data-driven decision making.
