Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a detailed Manual QA Analyst with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience to join our technology team supporting underwriting and policy administration platforms. This role focuses on manual testing (about 90%) with limited test automation (about 10%).

You will design and execute test cases, validate REST APIs with Postman, and manage defects in Azure DevOps while collaborating across Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA colleagues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience.
• P&C Insurance experience required.
• Manual software testing focused role (approx. 90%).
• Experience using Postman for API testing.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for test management & defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test plans, and scripts.
• Validate workflows across underwriting and policy administration applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Test REST APIs using Postman, verifying requests, responses, and data integrity.
• Create and track defects in Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with BAs, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teammates.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support automation initiatives when possible.
• Analyze requirements to ensure adequate test coverage and report release readiness.
