Job summary

RTX in Miramar, FL is seeking a skilled machinist/technician to set up and run machines and inspection equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate jig bores, lathes, mills, grinders and perform finish work, ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Maintain safe work practices, complete required documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and EH&S activities. Onsite role with an emphasis on precision and timely production.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience setting up machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run machines and inspection equipment.
• Operate coordinates measuring machines for making accurate inspection checks.
• Eliminate defects in set-up and operation of equipment.
• Utilize computer systems to input and retrieve information for daily activities.
• Participate in CORE continuous improvement and EH&S activities.
• Operate jig bores, lathes, mills, grinders and other manual equipment.
• Complete paperwork accurately for tasks performed.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and drive shop improvements.
