Mastercard Data & Services Spain is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to drive growth in the Spain market by developing partnerships with flagship financial institutions, merchants, fintechs and government around payment solutions.

You will lead strategic initiatives, tailor solutions from the Data & Services capabilities, and build senior-level client relationships to advance sales opportunities. This role requires fluency in Spanish and English and a strong consulting background.

All About The Role

The Business Development Director, in partnership with the existing team, will further drive growth of Mastercard’s Data & Services business in Spain by developing new business and creating strong partnerships with flagship FIs, merchants, fintechs and government around payment solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Together with existing team, shape Data & Services growth strategy in Spain and execute against that strategy
• Take joy in identifying the most critical aspects of a problem Client or market is facing to determine new business opportunities
• Leverage deep knowledge of all the Mastercard Data & Services capabilities and how they fit together to create customized and relevant solutions for clients solving for their needs
• Write well-structured, persuasive proposals and present these to clients
• Develop strong relationships / partnerships with senior level client management
• Align efforts with Mastercard core team for sales success, including managing external obstacles and maintaining leadership alignment and support
• Partner with local project teams to ensure project quality and identification of follow-up sales opportunities

• Experience from a top-rated consulting or digital firm desirable, as is payments/banking expertise and experience helping financial institutions at the executive leadership level.
