Job summary

Active Minds is seeking a Senior Manager, Youth Grants & Educator Engagement to lead the Youth Innovation Fund and Youth Champions. You will oversee mentorship, microgrants, and technical assistance, centering BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth while building partnerships with schools and districts.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Youth Leadership, and includes supervising the Manager, Middle School Engagement, plus cross-team collaboration to advance youth leadership in schools and communities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in K-12 schools, higher education or youth-serving organizations.
• Proven track record in youth development, leadership coaching and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience designing and delivering adult learning or trainings for youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Youth Innovation Fund grants cycle and award microgrants.
• Center equity criteria focusing on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth.
• Facilitate Youth Champion workshops and adult stakeholder trainings.
• Track mobilization metrics and report progress to leadership.
• Supervise the Manager, Middle School Engagement.
