Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks an experienced leader to manage a world-class team of wireless communication systems engineers for the Leo project. You will guide multi-disciplinary efforts spanning RF, DSP, 3GPP stacks, and NTN system design, while shaping standards participation and innovative software/hardware integration.

You will drive system architecture, develop simulation platforms, and deliver end-to-end solutions from ground to space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• 10+ years of experience wireless technology development.
• 3+ years of managing a team of wireless system engineers.
• Experience leading 3GPP systems such as 4G LTE, 5G NR.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop top wireless communication systems talent.
• Manage the systems team developing new technology, solutions and algorithms.
• Develop system-level and link-level simulation platforms.
• Define end-to-end system architecture for wireless NTN networks in FR1/FR2.
• Publish and maintain implementation specifications for HW/SW development.
• Define system test cases and validate end-to-end communication systems.
