Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Senior Manager for Windows and Microsoft Platform Engineering. You will lead a global team delivering Microsoft Azure and M365 solutions, both on‑prem and in the cloud, while upholding security and compliance standards.

You will architect, implement, and optimize enterprise Microsoft environments, coordinate with offshore teams, and drive continuous improvement across IT services and projects in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Computer Science or 8 years relevant IT experience
Minimum 8 years’ experience in design, configuration, implementation and support of Windows hardware and software
Experience leading a global IT team and managing hybrid on-site/off-shore delivery
ITIL v4 certification or familiarity is preferred

Responsibilities

Lead a global team of employees, contractors, and offshore resources
Architect, maintain, and advance on‑premises and cloud Microsoft environments (Azure, M365)
Ensure security controls and compliance per IT audit standards
Drive process improvements, project planning, and performance reviews
Oversee ESA process and cross-functional data/system linkages
