Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in New York seeks a Senior Manager of Business Development for Samsung Wallet to lead vision, strategy, and execution of partnerships across non-payment channels (membership and airline ticketing) and payment ecosystems. You will drive engagement and monetization while aligning with product, marketing, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in business development or partnerships.
• Experience in mobile apps, membership, fintech, or digital wallets.
• Experience managing partnerships and contractual agreements.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and drive business development and go-to-market efforts for Samsung Wallet across non-payment partnerships (membership, airline ticketing) and payment partnerships
• Manage portfolio of existing partnerships to drive mutually aligned goals for both Samsung Wallet and partnership success
• Negotiate and execute partnership agreements involving commercial terms, data usage, and product requirements
• Drive creation of business models with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on ROI and roadmap
• Partner with product and other cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule while ensuring quality and performance
• Coordinate go-to-market plans with marketing, analytics and legal
• Drive presentations to senior executives regarding partnership performance
