Our Team, Your Impact

The Senior Manager, Value & Access Strategic Planning and Pull/Push Through is a member of the Value & Access Organization and serves on the Value & Access Strategy Team. This role reports directly to the Director, Value & Access Strategy, Strategic Planning and Pull/Push-Through and supports the development and execution of annual planning and tactical implementation focused on pull/push-through strategies designed to optimize patient access and brand performance across Teva’s Innovative Medicines portfolio.

Acting as a critical bridge between payer strategy and field execution, this individual translates access strategies, formulary changes, reimbursement insights, and customer needs into actionable pull/push-through programs, field tools, and customer engagement resources. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and requires a distinctive blend of market access expertise, marketing capability, and understanding of field sales and customer‑facing environments.

The Senior Manager serves as the operational lead for pull/push-through execution, ensuring Value & Access strategies are effectively translated into annual planning, tactical programs, and tools for field-facing teams. Responsibilities also include customer engagement programs, formulary communications, and access-focused marketing initiatives that support appropriate brand performance. The individual will partner closely with Value & Access, Brand Marketing, Sales, Regional Account Management, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, Trade, Pricing, Analytics, Operations, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance colleagues. Market Research is a key position reporting to the Sr Director, Data Science & Commercial Analytics. This role will be responsible for leading the Brand Analytics team.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Strategic Planning and Pull/Push-Through Planning:

  • Support the development, evolution, and execution of annual Value & Access planning and pull/push-through strategies across assigned Innovative Medicines brands and priority initiatives.
  • Translate national and regional payer access objectives, formulary decisions, reimbursement dynamics, and customer insights into clear field actions and customer engagement plans.
  • Identify opportunities and barriers affecting the conversion of formulary access into appropriate product utilization and patient access.
  • Contribute to annual brand planning, Value & Access planning, tactical planning, and launch-readiness activities for in-line, launch, and pipeline assets.
  • Monitor payer, channel, reimbursement, policy, and competitive developments and assess their implications for pull/push-through priorities and execution.
  • Monitor KPIs for tactics in place and continuously optimize execution based on performance.

Access Marketing and Customer Communications:

  • Lead the creation, review, approval, deployment, and lifecycle management of access-focused marketing materials and pull/push-through resources.
  • Develop field- and customer-facing resources such as access guides, formulary communications, pull/push-through toolkits, account action guides, customer presentations, FAQs, objection handlers, training materials, and coverage updates.
  • Convert complex payer and reimbursement information into clear, concise, compliant, and actionable messaging for internal and external audiences.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and other content owners to ensure access messaging is integrated appropriately into broader brand communications and customer engagement resources.
  • Coordinate review and approval of materials through applicable Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and Compliance processes, and maintain alignment with approved strategy and messaging.
  • Apply a marketer’s discipline to content development while bringing a field-oriented perspective on how materials will be used in customer conversations.
How You'll Spend Your Day

Field Enablement and Execution:

  • Partner with Sales leadership, Regional Account Management, field teams, and training colleagues to activate pull/push-through strategies and maximize the value of formulary access.
  • Equip field teams with practical tools, insights, messages, and recommended actions that support effective engagement with healthcare professionals and other customers.
  • Support national meetings, plan-of-action meetings, launch meetings, workshops, and ongoing field training related to access, coverage, reimbursement, and pull/push-through execution.
  • Gather structured feedback from field teams and cross-functional partners to continuously improve materials, processes, and execution plans.
  • Support timely communication of formulary wins, losses, restrictions, policy changes, and other payer developments, including implications and recommended actions.

Analytics and Performance Management:

  • Partner with Analytics and Operations colleagues to define objectives, success measures, and performance indicators for annual plans and pull/push-through initiatives.
  • Monitor access, coverage, utilization, customer, and execution trends to assess program performance and identify opportunities for adjustment.
  • Contribute to dashboards, scorecards, business reviews, and executive updates that connect access performance with field execution and brand priorities.
  • Synthesize payer and sales data into actionable insights and recommendations for the Director, Value & Access Strategy, Strategic Planning and Pull/Push-Through and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Track timelines, budgets, vendor deliverables, material utilization, and program milestones to ensure disciplined execution.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Project Management:

  • Serve as a day-to-day strategic planning and pull/push-through partner across Value & Access Strategy, Brand Marketing, Sales, Regional Account Management, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, Trade, Pricing, Contracting, Analytics, Operations, Training, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams and agency or vendor partners from strategy and briefing through development, approval, deployment, measurement, and optimization.
  • Build alignment on priorities, roles, timelines, decisions, and deliverables while proactively identifying and resolving execution risks.
  • Present recommendations, performance updates, and project status to functional and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support the Director, Value & Access Strategy, Strategic Planning and Pull/Push-Through in advancing a consistent annual planning and pull/push-through framework, operating model, and best practices across the portfolio.
Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health sciences, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, payer, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: market access, payer marketing, brand marketing, sales, account management, field reimbursement, patient services, or commercial operations.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and executing field-facing or customer-facing marketing materials and communications.
  • Experience supporting a product launch, new indication, or launch-readiness workstream preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to influence beyond current role through interaction with various levels and functions
  • Working knowledge of the U.S. payer landscape, formulary management, reimbursement, and patient access dynamics.
  • Ability to connect access strategy to practical execution and business priorities.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 15% domestic travel throughout the US.

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $140,000 – $175,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
