Qualifications

Our Team, Your Impact

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Training will be responsible for leading the training strategy, operations, and execution for Teva’s Value & Access organization. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating capability-building learning programs that equip the field and home office-based Value & Access teams with the knowledge, skills, and business acumen needed to effectively navigate payer, institutional, and distribution channels. Partnering closely with Value & Access leadership, Marketing, Patient Services, and other cross-functional stakeholders, this leader will identify capability gaps and development opportunities and translate them into targeted learning solutions that will improve individual effectiveness and organizational performance.

The Sr. Manager will ensure training initiatives are aligned to business priorities, launched at optimal times, and supported through effective communication and reinforcement strategies to drive adoption and impact. Responsibilities include oversight of Value & Access onboarding, ongoing development programs, national meetings, product and marketplace training, and other initiatives designed to build consistent knowledge, skills, and execution across the Value & Access organization.

• Partner with Value & Access leadership, marketing, sales, training, medical, regulatory, legal leadership to assess design and deliver training solutions to meet the objectives identified.
• Execute blended training programs at new hire training, national meetings, regional meetings, and other events.
• Coach, teach and train national, regional, and trade account managers during training events. Assist leadership in ongoing development of their account management teams.
• Evaluate classroom curriculum and work with training leadership to keep training current and relevant for the field.
• Stay current with training trends by attending professional meetings and trainer development events.
• Suggest solutions that align with the strategic priorities of the overall organization.
• Understand the regulatory environment for each branded solution and follow proper approval processes.
• Exemplify excellent vendor management skills for optimal and on-time, on-target solutions.
• Leverage emerging training innovations when appropriate to ensure optimal outcomes.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience in one or more of the following areas: sales, marketing, sales leadership or training/development
• 4+ years of home office therapeutic training experience with 3+ years in market access, payer, contracting, trade, or reimbursement-related roles strongly preferred
• Experience in Psychiatry and / or Neurology preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Intimate knowledge of the relationship between sales, sales leadership, marketing, and training

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 20% domestic travel throughout the US.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.
• Visual Acuity: Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $137,760 – 172,200 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
