Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Manager TS/MS RLT to lead a team of scientists and engineers, driving robust, compliant manufacturing processes for Radioligand Therapies. You will provide scientific leadership across the site and ensure operations are well designed, in control, and validated for high quality medicine.

Responsibilities include process development, scale‑up, tech transfer, CAPAs, and data‑driven monitoring with SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 5+ years in technical services, manufacturing science, or process development in pharma.
• 3+ years in leadership role managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of cGMP for biopharma.
• Experience in process development, scale-up, validation, and tech transfer.
• Proficiency in SPC and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership for process development, optimization, and scale-up for RLT products.
• Oversee transfer of new processes and technologies with validation.
• Develop strategies for process monitoring, data analysis, and SPC to ensure product quality and yield.
• Lead investigations into manufacturing deviations, process failures, and CAPAs.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards.
• Mentor and develop team members, guiding career progression.
• Represent TS/MS RLT in internal meetings, presenting data and initiatives.
• Manage budget and resources for TS/MS RLT activities.
• Foster an inclusive workplace and engaged workforce.
• Participate in Site Lead Team and governance bodies.
• Provide leadership to the scientific agenda via the Science Lead Team.
• Ensure trained staff for process stewardship and day-to-day support.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring for control strategy and productivity.
• Technical review/approval for site quality documents and studies.
• Collaborate with CMC to define and improve control strategies.
• Ensure audit readiness and timely regulatory commitments.
• Provide support during inspections and audits.
