Walgreens is seeking a senior supply chain professional to lead and grow the backhaul program for its private fleet and dedicated carriers. You will drive RFPs, renegotiate CPU agreements, and oversee billing and auditing to protect margins.

The role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and travel up to 25% within the U.S. You will develop new policies and collaborate with senior management to improve efficiency and reduce empty miles.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School/GED plus 7 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsabilidades

• Grow profitable backhaul revenue YoY
• Minimize empty miles
• Manage current allowances and CPU agreements
• Increase fleet OR%
• Manage cost recovery through billing and auditing functionalities
• Manage backhaul on time performance at a fleet and lane level
• Develop innovative approaches, processes, and solutions that support department strategies.
• Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Interact regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and stakeholders.
• Create and foster a collaborative environment within the Transportation Team, focused on engagement, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Champion company initiatives, connecting efforts to company vision and purpose and driving increased engagement.
