Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a transportation leader to manage the inbound transportation team and the consolidation network. This role protects cost and service within Walgreens' inbound carrier network and leads the growing consolidation network.

You will work closely with senior leadership and our external carrier network to ensure needs are fulfilled on time and in full, driving improvements through carrier scorecards, KPI monitoring, and routing guides in the TMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School/GED plus 7 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
• At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound transportation team and consolidation network.
• Manage 70,000 shipments a year with 100M+ in carrier spend across FTL and LTL.
• Leads strategy across consolidation, tech and inbound operations.
• Develop carrier scorecard and carrier QBRs.
• Routing guide management within TMS.
• Collaborate with sourcing in carrier sourcing activities.
• Monitor and improve on-time performance and financial KPIs.
