Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Manager to oversee all commercial products at the site, providing technical process support and leadership for projects from definition to validation. The role includes program management, process improvements, and alignment with regulatory requirements to ensure site objectives are met.

The position also entails developing department staff, coordinating with functional area leaders, and ensuring continuous improvement and successful product launches while maintaining EH&S

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in Process Validation/Qualification.
• At least 4 years in a managerial role or on multidisciplinary projects.
• Proficiency in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Computer literate with knowledge of statistics, data manipulation and interpretation.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Strong administrative, communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and continuous improvement for commercial and new products on day-to-day production issues.
• Assist with changes in manufacturing equipment, batch size, ingredient supplier and experimental batches; ensure validation compliance.
• Drive Drug Product Technology transfers to manufacturing and manage related financial aspects.
• Support commercial manufacturing of third-party products and act as technical contact for customers.
• Lead troubleshooting and investigations; plan data collection and present results with charts and reports.
• Ensure EH&S requirements and promote continuous improvement.
