Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to guide complex US GAAP analysis, provide training, and mentor the accounting team.

This hybrid role reports to the Director of Technical Accounting and focuses on policy development, new standards, and strategic collaborations. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in accounting, public/ multinational experience, and strong knowledge of ASC 606, 842, 810, with CPA preferred and a bachelor’s

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of accounting experience.
• CPA license preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting.
• Public Accounting experience.
• Large multinational company experience with long-term construction contracts and services arrangements preferred.
• Experience with revenue recognition, leases, consolidations (ASC 606, 842, 810) and preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
• Research and interpret US GAAP; provide training to accounting team.
• Lead external audit coordination for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Develop and document accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support system implementations for accounting, compliance, and reporting.
• Prepare accounting memos on new pronouncements and transitions.
