Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric US (MEUS) is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead month end closing, reporting and budgeting for the Americas Corporate Office Shared Services organization. This role is responsible for intercompany accounting and accounts receivable for MEUS and other companies as a shared service, and MEUS Business Plan consolidation.

The essential functions include managing GL accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and payroll or benefit allocations, while driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, intercompany, AR, budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel, financial analysis, and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounting and consolidated reporting.
• Oversee accounts receivable operations including intercompany billing.
• Lead the annual budget process and periodic forecasting.
• Coordinate and consolidate the MEUS Business Plan submissions.
• Prepare executive management reports and analyses.
• Drive process improvements and SAP S/4HANA enhancements.
• Ensure internal control compliance and audit support.
• Develop and coach one direct report and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
