Job summary

BILL is seeking a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to be the subject-matter expert on complex, non-recurring, and emerging accounting matters under US GAAP. You will partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and business teams, ensuring audit-ready financial statements and disclosures.

You will lead analyses across revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, EPS, debt, and other topics, while owning SOX controls and contributing to Form 10-Q/10-K workpapers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including Big 4 exposure.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience with stock-based compensation, leases, revenue, debt, and business combinations.
• Public company experience and understanding of SOX controls and external audit.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate non-recurring transactions and document conclusions.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and lead policy updates.
• Prepare analyses and memos for areas like revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, EPS, debt.
• Serve as technical reviewer in Chart of Accounts creation and mappings.
• Support Form 10-Q/10-K workpapers and related disclosures.
• Own key SOX controls and coordinate with external auditors.
