Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to build and drive talent acquisition strategy.
  • Evaluate and improve recruitment processes and tools.
  • Lead and motivate the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Strengthen our candidate funnel.
  • Collaborate with HR peers, hiring managers, and senior leaders to manage expectations and keep parties engaged in a hire.
  • Lead and motivate the TA team with productivity metrics and hiring-process efficiencies.
  • Coach and mentor team members with feedback and development plans.
  • Educate leadership on best-in-class recruiting practices and culture of mutual investment.
  • Share knowledge and market updates to ensure valued partnerships.
  • Leverage external search firms to maximize impact.
  • Build a compelling employee value proposition with HR and marketing.
  • Use data to build relationships with business leaders.
  • Align recruitment with business needs.
  • Serve on Leadership Team as single point of contact for recruiting.
  • Act as recruiting lead for strategic hires.

The Talent Acquisition Sr. zapr initiates best-in-class Talent Acquisition strategies, methods, and partnerships to maximize impact across Astreya. This role oversees the process of attracting and selecting the best candidates for a high‑growth tech company and is responsible for developing the TA team.

Scope
  • Develops organizational policies Malcolm and authorizes their implementation.
  • Creates innovative solutions/concepts and promotes new ideas.
  • Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations.

Your Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to build, lead, evolve, develop, and drive talent acquisition philosophy, strategy, programs, and tools to support talent needs.
  • Further develop a TA structure that scales with business, anticipating growth and demands.
  • Evaluate and improve the recruitment process from sourcing and testing new recruiting tools to tracking recruitment KPIs.
  • Enhance the strength of our candidate funnel.
  • Collaborate with HR peers, hiring managers, and senior leaders in a productive way that manages expectations and keeps all parties engaged in a hire.
  • Lead and motivate the TA team by developing productivity metrics, goals, and hiring‑process efficiencies.
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor team members with continuous feedback and professional development plans.
  • Educate leadership and the broader organization on best‑in‑class recruiting practices, building a culture of mutual investment and focus on talent acquisition.
  • Share knowledge, strategy, and direction to ensure valued partnership via ongoing training and market updates.
  • Steer the use of external search firms and/or temporary staffing agencies to supplement internal recruiting efforts, grain building and managing relationships to maximize collective impact.
  • Build a compelling employee value proposition and brand in partnership with HR and marketing colleagues to drive an amazing place‑to‑work message.
  • Leverage data and insights to build effective relationships with business leaders.
  • Drive alignment of the recruitment process with business needs.
  • Serve on and partner with the Leadership Team to act as a single point of contact for all things recruiting.
  • Act as recruiting lead for strategic hires.

Required Qualifications / Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a recognized university and 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Interacts internally and externally with executive‑level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters.
  • Ability to translate numbers into action and opportunities for process and people improvements.
  • Must be willing to own and encourage others to embrace and adopt the TA strategy.
  • Must be an expert in recruiting talent, who provides real‑time view of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to embrace and drive change, shifting quickly with minimal noise when needed.
