Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 at its Elkton, MD facility. The role leads a team of material program managers, driving material strategy, forecasts, and supplier performance to meet program commitments.

The position reports to the PMO for the PS&C business unit and emphasizes LEAN and continuous improvement across complex DoD projects with competitive cost management and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related discipline; 10 years of experience in supply chain, material planning, and/or engineering, or Master's with 8 years' experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal/external clients.
• Proven track record in cost reductions and process improvements.
• Experience managing supply chain professionals with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of material program managers (MPMs) across the program lifecycle.
• Provide management oversight for material forecasts to improve accuracy.
• Develop and implement global supply chain strategies.
• Establish standard operating procedures to ensure material availability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time deliveries and mitigate risks.
