Job summary

Weezie in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Inventory to own inbound supply chain end to end—from overseas factories through customs clearance to receipt at our fulfillment center.

Reporting to the COO, you will lead freight strategy, vendor management, and cost structure for global freight while building a trustworthy inventory data model and overseeing ERP workstreams as Weezie expands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance.
• Experience negotiating with carriers/forwarders and owning a freight budget.
• Built or improved an inventory control environment and handled ERP implementations.
• Strong analytical skills and data integrity; proficient in Excel and SQL/BI tools.

Job description

With nearly 100 employees who work hard but also know how to #enjoythestay, we are searching for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Inventory to own our inbound supply chain end to end, from overseas factories through customs clearance to receipt at our fulfillment center.

Reporting to the COO, you will own the strategy, commercial relationships and cost structure behind our global freight network and manage our duty and tariff exposure in a shifting trade environment. You will also build and manage a real inventory control environment. As we optimize a newly implemented ERP system, expand our assortment, and grow new channels, you will own the standards, audits, and reconciliations that make our inventory data trustworthy, and the models that tell us how much space we will need as we continue to expand.

You will lead a Senior Operations Analyst and, through them, an Inbound Supply Chain Coordinator, and you will partner closely with Merchandising, Fulfillment, Finance, and Business Systems. You will be empowered to elevate our systems and practices, supporting Weezie's mission to elevate our customers' everyday so that they may experience delight in life's moments, both big and small.

What You'll Do

Inbound Freight Strategy & Ownership (50%)

• Set inbound strategy, balancing cost, speed, and resilience across a global supplier base
• Select, negotiate with, and manage freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
• Define and enforce vendor shipping compliance standards covering on-time ship, order completeness, documentation accuracy, and carton and labeling requirements
• Document exceptions, drive root cause resolution, and enforce chargebacks
• Own customs compliance, including HTS classification, country of origin, and documentation accuracy
• Set duty and tariff strategy: model exposure, evaluate mitigation options, and advise the business on cost impact as trade conditions shift
• Compute and maintain accurate landed cost across cost of goods, freight, and duties, and partner with Finance on how it is applied

Inventory Control & Accuracy (50%)

• Optimize and own the inventory control environment, including audit routines, reconciliation standards, and a cycle count program, ensuring accurate inventory is reflected across systems
• Own the inventory workstream of our ERP implementation, and inventory accuracy through cutover and beyond
• Own the accuracy of supply chain master data, including HTS codes, duty rates, country of origin, vendor lead times, and carton specifications, against standards set by Business Systems
• Build and maintain the storage demand model that informs our warehouse capacity decisions, evaluating overflow, 3PL, and network options as we grow
• Partner with Fulfillment on receiving, put-away, and physical count execution

Who You Are

• Commercially Sharp: 7+ years in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance, including direct experience negotiating with carriers, forwarders, or brokers and owning a freight budget
• Customs Fluent: Working command of international freight, HTS classification, and duty and tariff exposure, with the judgment to advise on mitigation rather than just administer compliance
• Inventory Rigorous: Has built or materially improved an inventory control environment, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and variance resolution, ideally through a system implementation
• Data Driven: Strong analytical skills and a high bar for data integrity; fluent in Excel, comfortable with SQL or BI tools, and able to build reporting others trust
• Systems Literate: Experienced in an ERP or WMS environment and comfortable adopting new tools, including AI and LLM applications, to move faster
• A Developer of People: Has managed or closely mentored others and enjoys raising the ceiling on someone else's work
• Strategic and Hands-On: Able to set network strategy and then personally dig into a customs discrepancy, a rate benchmark, or an inventory variance
• Accountable and Clear: A confident communicator who can hold external vendors and internal partners to a standard without burning the relationship
• Growth-Oriented: Background scaling a business with a global supply chain; e-commerce or consumer brand experience a strong plus
