Vallen Distribution is seeking a purposeful and strategic Senior Manager, Supplier Strategy to develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy for a multibillion-dollar enterprise. You will partner with Category Management to drive cost savings, profitability improvements, and long-term supplier partnerships that strengthen Vallen’s market position.

The ideal candidate brings strong procurement expertise, analytical rigor, and a collaborative mindset to uncover opportunities across spend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong data analysis and financial modeling capabilities.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence executive, commercial and operational functions.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead enterprise supplier strategy and development.
• Drive gross margin improvement and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Collaborate with Category Management to align sourcing priorities and negotiate terms.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Identify enterprise-wide sourcing opportunities across spend data.
