Job summary

Otis is seeking a Senior Manager, Supplier Quality & Development in Florence, SC to drive end-to-end supplier quality excellence across a large base of ~130 suppliers, managing a multi-site team of engineers. You will define strategies, implement the Supplier Quality Manual, and oversee PPAP and corrective actions to deliver high-quality parts on time.

You will lead quality initiatives across a substantial spend, coordinate cost-reduction programs, and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Quality experience including leading engineering teams.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO9001, UL and CSA audits, PFMEA, Control Plan, Containment Plans, APQP, PPAP, RRCA, Gage R&R, SPC, and Data Analysis.
• Lean manufacturing systems or Six Sigma Program management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of a multi-site team of Supplier Quality Development Engineers (Florence and Bloomfield).
• Define, implement, and oversee supplier quality strategies across a ~130 supplier base with 80% domestic and 20% international spend.
• Manage corrective actions, PPAP processes, and product changes at the supplier base.
• Monitor supplier performance focusing on on-time delivery, quality, and COPQ.
• Present quality progress to management and drive cost of poor quality initiatives.
