Job summary

Education Affiliates is seeking a Manager, Student Accounts – Private Debt & Collections to lead institutional loan portfolios and delinquent accounts across campuses. You will drive collection strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, manage agencies, and improve recovery while maintaining student-centered service.

The role requires 5+ years in collections with leadership experience, knowledge of FDCPA/FCRA/FERPA, and familiarity with college information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in collections or related fields.
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, FERPA and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing third-party collection agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee institutional loan portfolios and delinquent student accounts.
• Develop and implement collection and recovery strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and key metrics.
• Oversee relationships with third-party collection agencies.
• Approve payment plans, settlements, and hardship accommodations within guidelines.
• Partner across departments to resolve student account issues.
