Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Sr. Manager, Facilities & Operations to work at the UHealth Medical Campus.

This role administers leadership for projects and departments, overseeing maintenance staff, contractors, and services to ensure high-quality facilities. You will coordinate work orders, preventive maintenance, and renovations, provide estimates and budgets, ensure staff training, and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and related licenses or certifications.
• Experience leading maintenance, safety, and budget programs.
• Knowledge of central steam plant operations and HVAC systems.
• Ability to supervise staff, supervise contractors, and train employees.
• Strong communication, planning, and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff, contractors, and service personnel to maintain facilities.
• Coordinate work orders, preventative maintenance, and renovations for assigned areas.
• Prepare estimates and budgets for projects, maintenance contracts, and events.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with safety and university policies.
• Manage steam plant operations and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
