Job summary

RTX, in partnership with Pratt & Whitney, is seeking a Special Programs Security Manager to oversee DoD SAP Security compliance and national security programs. The role sits in the Government Security Compliance Office and requires a Top Secret/SAP access clearable candidate.

The selected candidate will lead CSSOs, coordinate across security disciplines, and drive program security plans while ensuring audits and inspections are completed successfully.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 7+ years in Security, Military or Defense.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Associate’s degree with 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
• High School diploma with 14+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience must include 5+ years working directly in Industrial Security field.
• Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher.
• Ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance with SAP/SCI access.
• Ability to meet enhanced security requirements for SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Support Government Security Compliance with DoD SAP Security Manual and procedures.
• Provide leadership for CSSOs and core compliance processes.
• Manage portfolio of special access programs and ensure security accountability.
• Collaborate with industrial security, cybersecurity, and program leadership.
• Develop and implement program security plans (OPSEC, PPIP, test plans, outside work).
• Assist in annual and event-based security inspections and audits.
• Mentor CSSOs and supervise alternate CSSOs.
