Blue Origin LLC in Seattle is seeking a Senior Manager of Vehicle System Engineering and Integration to lead a team delivering the MK2 Crew Lander. You will drive integrated design, analysis, verification, validation, and certification, while instilling agile and lean system engineering practices and a culture of systems thinking.

You will manage safety-focused requirements, interfaces, and verification across vehicle systems, mentor engineers, and coordinate with leadership to advance delivery

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience effectively managing people and developing a high-performing team.
• Experience leading integrated technical teams to deliver complex systems in dynamic environments.
• Subject matter expertise in System Engineering, requirements, analysis, verification, validation, and risk management.
• 5+ years managing technical teams and coaching employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of systems engineers, fostering career development and high performance.
• Control technical baselines for Crew Lander to balance cost, schedule, and risk.
• Manage requirements, interfaces, validation, and system safety analyses.
• Define and execute verification, validation, and certification activities.
• Establish tools and practices for System Engineering and integration, mentor staff.
• Implement agile project management to deliver iterative, incremental vehicle goals.
