Job summary

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks a Senior Manager of Secondary Math to lead math instruction for grades 6–12 across the region. This full-time role focuses on implementing high-quality math curriculum, data-driven improvement, and culturally responsive pedagogy to prepare students for advanced coursework.

The role partners with school leaders, coaches, and teachers to design professional learning, drive instructional excellence, and monitor progress toward outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of K-12 math teaching experience.
• Florida teaching certificate in Math 6-12 or equivalent.
• Experience leading or coaching adults (PD facilitator, chairs, etc.).
• Demonstrated impact on student achievement data.
• Ability to design and deliver region-wide math PD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional and school leaders to develop a aligned K-12 math framework.
• Develop region-wide professional development for teachers and leaders.
• Oversee full implementation of math curricula in grades 6–12.
• Create regional curriculum calendars in collaboration with the academic team.
• Ensure curriculum aligns to standards and state assessments.
• Lead regional department meetings and teacher content teams.
• Analyze regional data to identify needs and guide initiatives.
• Provide coaching to teachers and content leaders, modeling practices.
• Support school-based intervention and instructional technology programs.
