Job summary

KIPP St. Louis is seeking a Secondary Curriculum Manager to provide strategic instructional leadership across English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, AP coursework, dual enrollment opportunities, and other secondary programs.

Reporting to the Vice President of Academics & Instruction, this leader ensures coherent curriculum implementation, rigorous instructional practices, and data‑driven improvement that prepares every student for college, career, and life.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful classroom teaching with strong student outcomes.
• Experience leading curriculum implementation or instructional improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating professional learning for adults.
• Experience using student achievement data to drive instructional decisions.
• Strong understanding of instructional coaching and leader development.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and systems.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid teaching certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum implementation across core content areas and grade bands.
• Develop regional guidance for curriculum, assessment practices, and instructional priorities.
• Design and deliver professional learning for teachers and leaders.
• Coach school leaders and teachers through walkthroughs and feedback cycles.
• Analyze student performance data to guide instructional decisions and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-campus teams to ensure alignment to standards and priorities.
