Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to support internal and external financial reporting and technical accounting functions, including SEC filings and SOX compliance. The role collaborates with auditors, lenders, and executive leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial deliverables.

The position requires extensive GAAP expertise, CPA certification, and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• SOX internal controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) under GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Prepare and review reporting for lenders and credit agreements.
• Support earnings communications and investor materials.
• Research and apply technical accounting guidance (ASC 842, ASC 718, ASC 805/810).
• Support the SOX program by designing and documenting internal controls.
• Provide analysis for senior leadership to inform decisions.
• Assist with acquisitions, divestitures, complex transactions and special projects.
