Job summary

Ardent Health in Brentwood, Tennessee, seeks a Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to support the company’s consolidated interim and annual financial statements, SEC filings, and external audits. This role requires applying U.S.

GAAP and SEC rules to complex transactions. You will lead accounting topics, maintain SOX controls, partner with auditors and executives, and drive process improvements in reporting and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public Accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience researching and applying U.S. GAAP to complex transactions.
• Working knowledge of SOX internal control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K) with GAAP and SEC compliance.
• Liaises with independent auditors, coordinating quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Prepares monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables to lenders under credit agreements.
• Supports executive leadership with earnings materials and investor communications.
• Researches and applies complex accounting guidance (ASC 842, ASC 718, ASC 805/810, debt, revenue).
