Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (CVG) seeks a Senior Manager of External Reporting and Controls to lead SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP compliance, and the SOX 404 program. This senior role interfaces with the VP Corporate Controller, CAO, external auditors, and cross‑functional partners across Finance, Operations, and IT.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, with public company and manufacturing sector exposure, and CPA credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, with public accounting and public company background.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage external SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q/8-K) and ensure GAAP compliance across filings.
• Lead technical accounting research on revenue, inventory, leases, and stock-based compensation; help set policies.
• Oversee Internal Controls & SOX 404, drive remediation and coordinate with audits and process owners.
• Coordinate external audit process and prepare audit committee materials.
