Job summary

Encoded Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager of Scientific Communications to lead high-quality medical content and patient-focused materials. You will support data-driven messaging, conference planning, and cross-functional collaboration across Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Corporate Communications.

The role emphasizes compliant, clear communication of complex data to scientists, clinicians, patients, and investors.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or eight years with a Master’s, or PhD with 3–5 years.
• Three to five years in medical writing, publications, or scientific communications in biotech/pharma.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise content for diverse audiences.
• Strong writing, editing, and project-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and QC abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Biometrics, and Corporate Communications for data-driven messaging.
• Maintain document review and version control across publications and communications.
• Draft scientifically sound materials for internal and external audiences, ensuring compliance.
• Plan and support scientific congress activities, sessions, booth materials, and debriefs.
• Manage MLR reviews and timely, empathetic responses to inquiries from patients and advocates.
