Job summary

Insight in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Senior Manager - Sales Compensation Planning to design and drive our variable compensation programs. You will oversee incentive plans for multiple teams and align them with strategic objectives.

You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to analyze data, shape compensation design, and ensure objective outcomes across the organization. This role blends finance, sales and analytics in a dynamic, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Sales Compensation incl. incentive plan design and financial modeling.
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets and provide coherent insights.
• Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.

As a Senior Manager - Sales Compensation Planning, you will design, analyze, oversee and implement Insight’s variable compensation programs. We will count on you to ensure that variable compensation initiatives drive Insight’s strategic objectives and ensure that these initiatives are in alignment with the Insight’s overall vision. Along the way, you will get to:

• Drive Insight North America's incentive strategy and compensation planning to deployment process for the Sales, Product Marketing, and Service Delivery organizations across multiple go-to-markets.
• Acts as an executive business partner to leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design incentive compensation plans for a variety of roles, incorporating feedback from executives and organizational stakeholders.
• Manage the entire incentive design process, including working with leaders to understand business strategic objectives, to assessing the success of current incentives, to proposing new incentive designs, to determining, operationalizing and communicating new incentives.
• Incentive design scope includes commission plans and bonus plans for roles including: Account Executives, Sales Managers, Executives, Sales Development Reps, and roles from recent acquisitions.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university
• 10-15 years’ experience in Sales Compensation including incentive plan design and financial modeling and analysis; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Services background is preferred.
• Ability to understand all components of sales compensation, review large amounts of data and provide a coherent analysis of it.
• Basic understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.
